These choices ask how much risk a society should accept so people can decide for themselves. Choosing “Enforce the ban equally — no exceptions, or the rule loses meaning for everyone” prioritises fewer restrictions now; choosing “Grant a medical exception — equal rules shouldn't override unequal needs” gives more weight to fewer regrets later.
