Why this dilemma matters
These choices ask how much risk a society should accept so people can decide for themselves. Choosing “Continui a produrre l'opera che ti ha reso celebre, anche se ti svuota interiormente” prioritises fewer restrictions now; choosing “Rinunci alla fama e ricomincia con un nuovo linguaggio artistico, rischiando l'irrilevanza” gives more weight to fewer regrets later.
