Why this dilemma matters
These choices are rarely between good and bad — they are between different distributions of harm. Choosing “Sì: è più sostenibile e sicura, e i genitori non hanno diritto di veto su ogni scelta nutrizionale” prioritises rules that hold everyone the same; choosing “No: i genitori hanno il diritto di sapere cosa mangiano i figli, anche se il cibo è equivalente” gives more weight to choices that account for difference.
