Why this dilemma matters
These choices ask how much risk a society should accept so people can decide for themselves. Choosing “Dire sempre la verità: sei autentico, ma perdi tatto, privacy e protezione personale” prioritises fewer restrictions now; choosing “Non ricevere mai bugie: chi ti parla deve essere sincero, ma può tacere o evitare di rispondere” gives more weight to fewer regrets later.
