Why this dilemma matters
These choices ask whose interests you protect first when you can’t protect everyone. Choosing “Yes. Drama and temptation make the story better” prioritises loyalty to people close to you; choosing “No. Betraying players breaks table trust” gives more weight to honesty toward everyone else.
Worth asking yourself
- What kind of person do you want to be in this story?
- Whose trust would you protect first?
