These choices are rarely between good and bad — they are between different distributions of harm. Choosing “Sì. La conoscenza pubblica deve sopravvivere alla politica” prioritises rules that hold everyone the same; choosing “No. Funzionari non eletti non devono superare il controllo democratico sui dati” gives more weight to choices that account for difference.
