The dilemma is what happens when the rules of a market degrade and you discover that everyone else has already adapted. Refusing to use AI-generated reviews protects your integrity but may destroy your shop; using them protects the shop but turns you into one more node in the deception you used to despise.
Why people split
Some treat the surrounding cheating as moral cover: the platform refuses to verify, the customer cannot tell the difference, and refusing to play makes you the only person paying the cost of honesty. Others treat the choice as character-defining: once you do it, you become someone who will do it again, and the small businesses that hold the line eventually become the trustworthy ones when the platform corrects.

What the split says
Every new capability quietly removes a previous choice — the question is whether that trade is worth it. Once votes come in, this section will show how voters balance capability against risk.
Worth asking yourself
- Who benefits from this, and who absorbs the risk?
- Could you reverse the choice if it backfired?
