Why this dilemma matters
No legal answer is the same as a moral answer here — both have to be argued. Choosing “Expose their identity — accountability matters more than their privacy” prioritises the strict rule; choosing “Stay silent — revealing their medical history causes disproportionate harm” gives more weight to a context-aware exception.
