These dilemmas put rules and circumstances against each other and demand a verdict. Choosing “Proteggi la fonte e cerchi altri modi per fermare la frode, anche se i tempi si allungano” prioritises the letter of the law; choosing “Riveli l'identità della fonte alle autorità per bloccare subito il danno ai lavoratori” gives more weight to the spirit behind it.
