Why this dilemma matters
No legal answer is the same as a moral answer here — both have to be argued. Choosing “Yes. Spiritual authority should interrupt the logic of revenge” prioritises the strict rule; choosing “No. Calling for peace too early can abandon justice” gives more weight to a context-aware exception.
